    The demand for security professionals with skills to protect systems from attack continues to grow. Completing this diploma program will not only give you the skills to maintain computer and network systems but will give you the ability to design and configure these systems and optimize them to protect them from attack.

    Network Security

    This module provides an introduction to computer security, networking fundamentals, and the internet's role in cyber vulnerabilities. Students explore attack methods, malicious logic, encryption, and auditing systems. Topics include cyberterrorism, information warfare, and forensic approaches, equipping learners to tackle modern cyber threats through policy development and security technologies.

    Computer Cryptography and Digital Steganography

    This course covers core mathematical concepts, cryptographic protocols, and key management systems, focusing on theoretical and applied aspects. Students examine attacks on cryptosystems, steganography principles, and conclude with big data security and digital information hiding techniques, emphasizing legal and ethical considerations in data protection.

    Digital Forensic Systems

    This module introduces students to the fundamentals of computer forensics, including investigative methods for Windows file systems, mobile platforms, and networks. It emphasizes practical skills such as documenting investigations and using forensic tools to retrieve and secure digital evidence in compliance with regulatory standards.

    Security Architecture and Design

    Students gain insight into the design and evaluation of secure digital infrastructures. The course examines access control, database protection, web and application security, vulnerability assessments, and trusted code review. Emphasis is placed on understanding attack vectors and designing resilient systems that align with industry frameworks and policy standards.

    Admission Requirements 

    General Entry
    Domestic Students:

    • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent OR
    • Minimum age of 18 and successful completion of the Wonderlic SLE test

    International Students:

    • IELTS 5.0 or equivalent English proficiency OR
    • Successful interview with a Blue College Admissions Advisor

    Technical Requirements:
    • Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for hands-on technical engagement

    • Admissions are open year-round with flexible intake opportunities.
    • Admissions do not issue Study permit or Student Visa at this moment
